The barn needs to be restored and it should be possible to add some extra living space because,  at the moment, the barn is quite small. The property is on 2 floors with one large room on each floor. It is surrounded by private land with chestnut trees and a field. At the moment it can't be reach with a car, but a road can be easily made running across the land. The main road is just 200 meters from the barn. The barn is already connected to a water supply and the electricity connection is just 200 M away.

Large House for restoration with views and terrace This large house is located in a characteristic medieval village, with bar, between Bagni di Lucca and Barga in Tuscany.  The property is a shell needing all interior floors and all services.  The roof was replaced 10 years ago but will also need some work, including a waterproof layer, before it will be up to standard.  However, the current roof is basically sound and has prevented any further deterioration of the property. The house was originally 2 seperate properties.  The family of the current owners bought the piece next door in the 1940s.  The main house has some great traditional features, large beams inside that look to be mostly in good condition, arched doorways and attractive arched stone window surrounds.  There is also a rear entrance to the building with a small courtyard area; not large enough to sit out but an interesting feature nonetheless. The second house also has traditional features and both properties can be connected and are under the same roof. The property is in the historic centre of the village which is actually well inhabited around and has a post office in the village. The owner has already had surveys done on the building and has a quantitive survey as well as a quote available for the restoration. There is a roof terrace on the property and a small garden behind it.                          

Semi-detached Rural House in habitable condition with land   This small rural house is located in a popular area of the media valley about 30 minutes from the medieval city of Lucca.  The house is over 3 floors with a finished basment/laundry area, a kitchen and living room on the floor above, accessed through the main door, and 2 bedrooms with a small bathroom on the top floor. The house is fully habitable.  It would benefit from redecoration and modernisation to the kitchen and bathroom but you could move in right away. Overall, this is a very interesting property at a very interesting price.  It is ususual to find a habitable rural property, with land, views and reasonable condition at any price, making this a very interesting prospect indeed.

This purchase is a big project as the house, that has been left empty since 1981, need a complete restoration including new roof, new ceilings and new services.
