This Borgo (small village within a village) is set in the area distinguished as being part of the Castrum Project.  The area is distinguished by important ancient hilltop castles. On arrival in the Borgo, the first restored house is this one here which is a complete "chicca" as they say in Lucchese.  It has been restored as the perfect little holiday home.

There is sleeping for four; a double bed in the bedroom and then a sofa bed in the anti bedroom upstairs.

Downstairs is the bathroom and kitchen diner.  The house has thick walls and is heated by a fireplace which is enough even in the winter to keep snug and warm.  The sewers are public and the electrics are certified as being to European standard.

Outside is a huge loggia and a stunning garden.  Across the private road is piece of land of 400 mq that can be offered as parking or space for a pool with any of the Borgo Gattini homes.

The Borgo has an excellent trattoria within walking distance and the city of Aulla just 15 minutes away.
