This property is a rare find.  Although there are no surviving records it was presumably built in about 1650-1700 and would have originally been inhabited  been owned by wealthy landowners.

 The house is  200 sq metres and located is on the edge of a popular village and has magnificient views over the hills, valleys and olive groves of the area.

 The house itself is on three levels plus large wine cellars underneath.

On the ground floor you have a sitting/dining room, small kitchen with original fireplace and wooden fitted cupboard/dresser.

There is also a bedroom with views, in this room another fitted wooden cupboard, storage space and other original features.

 A beautiful marble staircase, worn with age, with handmade Iron banisters leads up to the first floor where you have 2 bedrooms

Casa Alfieri is situated in a small village, surprisingly international, near Lucca, Pisa and the airport.  There is a bakers, butchers and other food shops in the village as well as bars, Pizzeria, nearby restaurants  and a post office. 

There is also a regular bus service to both Lucca and Pontedera. The beautiful seaside resort of Marina di Vecchiana is about 30 minutes drive and there are lots of nice walks in the vicinity.
