Detached, Riverside Tuscan House to be restored with Land
This, highly original house is found in the Garfagana National Park on the banks of the Castiglione Tributary. It was original accessed via an old bridge which was replaced last Summer with a new bridge. The new bridge was washed away with a storm leaving the house with pedestrian access only until the new bridge is replaced again.
This spacious, dual aspect house is built on three floors. The very ground floor has three cantinas and a bathroom with access to the large garden. The first floor has a large Tuscan kitchen with a fireplace, there is also a utility room and a lounge. There is a second kitchen as this house was originally divided and another room. This floor has wooden floors.
The top floor has four bedrooms, two with terracotta floors and two with wooden floors. All the rooms have beams.
This is going to make a truly delightful holiday home. It even has a small barn that could be made into a guest suite.
