Casa Lomazzi Country Houses - Restored in Lucca Hills

 

 

This is one of those ugly duckling properties that can easily be transformed into a swan by simply re-painting the stucco on the outside and doing some decorating on the inside.

 

This house has been lived in until very recently and needs only a good clean and some furniture. There are three balconies overlooking the piazza of Popiglio, which is set in a “bowl” on the way up to the ski resort of Abetone. The topography of the area allows this village to be sun drenched even in the winter.

 

At one time, the property was divided into two apartments and although these apartments would probably be too small by today’s standards, there is still that possibility.
