Semi-detached Rural House in habitable condition with land
This small rural house is located in a popular area of the media valley about 30 minutes from the medieval city of Lucca. The house is over 3 floors with a finished basment/laundry area, a kitchen and living room on the floor above, accessed through the main door, and 2 bedrooms with a small bathroom on the top floor.
The house is fully habitable. It would benefit from redecoration and modernisation to the kitchen and bathroom but you could move in right away.
Inside there is a fireplace and lots of original features including terracotta tiled floors and chestnut beamed ceilings. On the exterior, the house has been rendered and would benefit from repainting in a more attractive colour. A pale yellow or pink with green shutters usually transforms a house. Also, you may be able to remove the cement to expose the stone underneath. It probably does have stone beneath judging by the house next door.
The only disadvantage to this one is the access. You reach the property along a small grassy path, although it is actually not very far, only about 50M from the start of the path to the house itself. We are also looking at the options for improved access and car parking, but this is no worse than the usual village house where you often park your car and then have a climb of 200M or more to your property. But if we can find an easier way of getting you to the front door with your luggage or shopping bags then we will let you know!
Overall, this is a very interesting property at a very interesting price. It is ususual to find a habitable rural property, with land, views and reasonable condition at any price, making this a very interesting prospect indeed.
