Traditional Detached Farmhouse above Montecatini Terme Immersed in its own Olive Grove
Location, location, location! This property was owned by a family who commuted daily into Florence making this a very interesting proposal for anyone wishing to have easy access to Florence but still wishing for the peace and quiet of the countryside.
The house is built in the centre of its own olive grove and enjoys spectacular views even as far as San Gimignano on a clear day. It has tarmac access making it easily accessible.
The house is a traditional farmhouse built on three storeys, the bottom floor is the cantina level where the boiler room and storage.rooms are. The main living area is accessed by external steps. The rooms are spacious and have new floors and windows. The first room is the sitting room, leading into an eat-in kitchen and then a dining room.
Upstairs there are three large bedrooms and a brand new bathroom with a rain shower. The family have also had a project done on the house taking the local town planning rules into consideration. This is the project below.
The house has full central heating operated from a Thermorossi pellet burner. It was reconstructed in 2011 with floors reinforced but leaving the characteristic beams showing. The only works that need to be done on this house is the roof and, maybe the external plaster. It has a brand new septic tank.
The area is one of the most beautiful as it is truly what one expects from Tuscany with olives and vines surrounding it.
