Detached Traditional Farmhouse Needing Some Cosmetic Surgery with Attractive Barn
This property is found above the village of Gromignana. It is found at the end of an unmade, communal road in a very attractive chestnut selva which is traditionally the kind of land where the famous porcini mushrooms are found. There are no close neighbours at all and the property is rather remote.
There are two floors on one side of the building and three on the far side as the house is situated on the side of a fairly gentle hill. One enters into the hallway with the kitchen on the south facing side, there is a dining room or sitting room on this floor. Up the stairs, there are two very large bedrooms and a bathroom.
Underneath the house are three cantinas which keep the abitable part of the house dry.
Opposite the house, is a very attractive barn which could be made into a guest annex.
Although, the lady owner of the house drives a Fiat Panda, we would not dream of showing this house to anyone without taking a four-wheel drive. The house is definately for someone who wants peace and quiet and to comune with nature.
