Historic Home with Arched Windows and Garden, Originally Part of a Noble Home in the Village - Energy Efficiency Class G
The village connects the valley of the Lima with, eventually Pescia, over the Pizzorne hills. It is a place where the hills can be explored and enjoyed. It also enjoys fantastic views. There is even a bar/pizzeria ready to be opened if someone wants to make a living here.
One enters through the garden into a kitchen with an alcove, this also has a fireplace, don't be fooled by this though as there are some surprises to come. There is a spectacular dining room with arched windows showing the original features of the house. There is also a bedroom and bathroom. The photos show wood cladded ceilings as it was fashionable to clad the ceilings in the 1970's and '80's in order to insulate the rooms. Underneath are all the original beams and "mezzane" bricks.
Upstairs, there is a very large bedroom with a small en-suite shower room.
The most spectacular thing about this house has got to be the garden which teams with life in the summer due to the lavender and olive trees that has been planted.
Underneath the house are three cantinas, one of which houses the old well that supplied water to the house. Nowadays the house has both public water and public sewers. It also has full GPL central heating making it possible to live all year round.
There is also vehicle access from a white road underneath the village but it is not for the faint hearted.
