Partly Restored Ex-Convent with Walled Garden and Vegetable Garden - Now Reduced
One enters on the top floor into a large sitting room with a beautiful, open fireplace from with kitchen and bathroom off it. This sitting room has French Windows. There are two bedrooms on this floor. The stairs going down are original from the 15th century lead to more bedrooms.
On this lower floor is another bedroom, a taverna and several other rooms that could be made into a second bathroom. There is delightful room with French doors out into the garden which were used as the artist owners studio.
Under these rooms are three more cantinas and several other rooms one of which is accessed from the exterior and was the chapel for the convent.
The garden is beautiful with a palm tree and a vine. Under this is a large vegetable garden. The house enjoys wonderful views down the valley and to the other hilltop villages.
There is a shop and bar 2 km walk away and this village is the gateway to the Pizzorne and the foot hills of the Appenines where another agriturismo is found. A great adventure would be to walk or cycle to the Agriturismo for lunch.
