This house is situated in the Valfegana. The name means "the valley of the river Fegana". The river comes from the Appenine mountains and flows through a green valley called Fegana.
The house is surrounded by forest, and its own land, with a front and a rear garden, gently sloping.
There is a small town called Fornoli where there's a trainstation, a supermarket, bars, a bank and a post office, only about two kilometres from the house. Lucca is half an hour, twenty minutes away and the Versilia beaches about an hour.
Only a few kilometres up the road are stables if someone likes riding.
The house comes on two floors with a kitchen, sitting room and one bedroom on the ground floor.
On the first floor are two bedrooms and a bathroom.
The staircase is in the middle of the house, in front of the entrance door.
The dwelling is in need of a cosmetic renovation, not having had any since the Sixties-Seventies.
There is a road that takes down to the river, where in the hot Tuscan summer, it's possible to bath in the cool water!
