Delightful Complex consisting of a Village House with Three Gardens, a Barn and Chestnut Drying Shed. Would make a great Bed and Breakfast.
This property enjoys wonderful views and all the atmosphere of Italian, village life as the village is well populated with lots going on, not just in this village, but also in the nieghbourhood villages. This village and 2 others take it in turns to host the 'Presipe Vivente' which is normally held close to December 8th when Italy celebrates the Annunziation. The festival has everyone dressed up and showing off skills from a by-gone age.
The house is on the southern side of the village, next to the church and has a front row seat for some of the other festivals that go on. The terrace is actually built on top of the original chestnut drying shed but this could be used for storage in the future.
There is also a detached barn which could be converted into bedrooms, or even a self-catering unit to rent out. This is, as yet unrestored. There is another wing to the house which contains the cantinas and rooms for more bedrooms that are also un-restored for now.
The main, restored house has 3 bedrooms and a bathroom, there is a room off the third bedroom that has all the plumbing ready for an en-suite bathroom. There is a large living space downstairs with French doors out to the spacious terrace for 'al fresco' dining. This room has a fireplace and feature stairs up to the three bedrooms.
When the owners restored, they put in full central heating with all the heat pumps and radiators. There is, as yet no boiler for the central heating as the owners only use the house as a Summer home. The hot water is heated with gpl though.
This is a lovely place to be with potential for an income from it.
