This delightful village home used to be the village bakery and is divided into two. It is completely ready to move into but will want internal modernisation. The apartments are divided with an attractive wrought-iron gate.
The apartment on the ground floor has one bedroom, bathroom, and an eat-in kitchen.
Upstairs is our favourite room which has a french window, Juliet balcony, beams and a fireplace. This room really ‘brings the outside in’. There are also two bedrooms and a bathroom on this floor.
Upstairs there is a very large mansarda (attic room) which has a brand new roof.
Under the house are massive cantinas with the original bread oven from when the inhabitants used to come for bread in the mornings. This room has the access to the back garden.
The house is attached to the urban sewers, the electrics are ok but will need updating if heavy usage is envisaged. The plumbing was also carried out at the time of the restoration.
The village is very busy with lots of full time residents. It has several ‘interest’ clubs. It has three bars, a pizzeria, a grocers and a general store.
The village is at the beginning of the road that leads up to Passo del Giovo where Hannibal reputedly crossed down to go to Rome. The road across the top has just celebrated in Bi-centinary
