ID-Rustico Cima alle Vigne
Situated in the First Hills of Lucca - an Untouched Treasure in its on Nearly 3 Hectares of Gently Sloping Land and with views over the Plain of Lucca
At the moment, the house is accessed by a white road however, the owners have a project and quotes for a proper road to be built.
The land is very attractive with terraces. At the moment, the property is uninhabited but did once have electricity so this should be reasonably easy to reattached.
On the ground floor there are two cantinas and a stable. Upstairs, was where the family would live. At the moment the house is quite linear but there is a project to extend it into a 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom property with a pool in front of it. Our agency project managed the restoration of a similar property just 5 years ago.
The interior is designed to give maximum light and exposure from the sun as it was built before central heating. There is a set of central stairs with rooms on either side. Back in the day, on the ground floor, there would have been a couple of stables and two storage rooms for hanging meat, storing vegetables and agricultural machinery.
Upstairs the family would live with a large farmhouse kitchen, and bedrooms.
The house is projected now to be divided into two holiday apartments side by side but it doesn't have to be. It is also ideal as a family home. There is a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor with French doors out to the land. There is an eat-in kitchen with French doors projected for each apartment.
The staircase is still central with three bedrooms upstairs with two bathrooms. The design also has a walk-in closet.
The land was once an olive grove and vineyard but has not been coltivated for some time.
The real beauty of this property is its location so close to Lucca and yet completely private.
