The house is located in Pieve di Monti di Villa, a hilltop village of the Bagni di Lucca area. In the village there is a bar/rifugio and Bagni di Lucca is just 7 km away.
Once you've park the car at the back of the house you will access to a nice terrace that gives you access to the entrance-kitchen-dining room, this room is quite big; has a fireplace and a pellet stove. The kitchen is divided by the rest of the room by a half wall and arches.
Next room is a small corridor that gives access to both top and lower floor and also to the first double bedroom and to the bathroom, this has a walk-in shower.
On top floor, access via a spectacular stone staircase, you will find two bedrooms and a study where one can create a second bathroom.
On lower floor the owners have created a "taverna" where they use to cook during summer nights, this room needs a little restoration as it is very basic. On same floor there is also a cellar with woodburner that heat the radiators in the house and a toilet.
The house has been restored during the years, so one can actually use it as it is.
On top floor there are some nice wooden beams exposed.
Roof is old, but doesn't leak, an ideal solution would be to put solar panels on the roof when restoring it.
The central heating system is combo between the woodburner in the cellar and the fireplace in the dining room. They have also installed a pellet burner that pump hot air in the living space and the bedroom on ground floor.
At a short distance there is a piece of land to make a vegetable patch that also has water.
For an extra sum, a barn can be purchased.
