Classic Tuscan Farmhouse with Gently Sloping Land and Outhouse
This house is built on the style of a 'Villa Liberty' in 1920, partly restored recently. The kitchen is an eat-in kitchen. There is also another kitchen with a pizza oven in it. This room has been restored recently and shows the beauty of the stone walls.
Currently there is a bedroom in what would be the second reception room. Behind this is the cantina and boiler room. The boiler uses wood as its fuel and will need updating.
The bathroom is on a mezzanine floor and has a tub.
The first floor consists of four rooms which would be bedrooms although one of the rooms is used as a work room.
The roof is in good order according to the owner and partly has bitumen paper lining it.
Outside the house is an outhouse which has a summer kitchen and a fireplace for cooking. Behind the house is the laundry and the honey laboratory.
The garden is large and full of fruit trees, kiwi, lemons (due to the micro-climate) plums, apples etc.
The land is suitable for horses as it is pretty flat.
The views are stunning and, in the summer, one can see all the fireworks from the villages across the valley.
The access is good with a tarmac road all the way to the house.
The village is part way between the spa town of Bagni di Lucca and the hilltop villages connected by the 'Sentiero Del Pastore'.
