ID-Casa Civita
Lovely house restored in the 1990 with great views and amazing terrace for 'Al-Fresco' dining.
This house is located in the heart of the village of Granaiola, the access is pedestrian or with a "ape".
The entrance is located on a common area that is shared with other two houses, one lived in all year around and the other used as holiday home.
Once you enter you will find a reception room that leads you to the cellar on same floor and up the stairs to the living area; here you will find a living room with fireplace and balcony, the kitchen that has a door out to the terrace overlooked the valley, and the dining area.
On the other side you will find two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The house also has an attic space for storage and two more cellars on ground floor with access from outside.
The systems are all redone when the house was restored, includind a central heating system with wood and gas bottle outside for the kitchen.
The windows are all double glazed.
Granaiola is a very popular village in our area because it has some of the finest views in the area. There is a delightful walking path down to the main town of Bagni di Lucca making this an excellent destination for Sunday lunch. In the opposite direction is Rifiugio Fiori if you want a shorter Sunday walk. If you really want to earn your sunday lunch then there is Enrico's agriturismo which also has a swimming pool. These destinations can be also reached by road but this is less fun.
