The house is completely private with a delightful large pool to enjoy in the Summer in the flat garden. There are two terrace features and a rockery.
The house is on three floors with the main entrance on the middle floor, there is a covered vestible with a pizza oven in it, one enters into the living room off which is a large country-style kitchen. The fireplace in here has a back burner which operates the central heating.
Upstairs, there are two double bedrooms but a large enough landing for a guest to sleep in. The bathroom has a shower.
Underneath the house, one sees the bedrock in the laundry and bathroom which are on the basement floor.
The current owners have just put on a new roof and completely re-stuccoed the house. The roof has insulation as well as water proof felt.

The historical site mentioned above is an antique iron foundry (1798) where an elderly blacksmith is still working, as his family has done for four generations back! His working tools are actually powered by water as in ancient times. There is a small river very close to the property making this possible.
The house built in 1846 is only about a hundred meters from the foundry. Behind the foundry is a delightful walking path that forms a ring, returning to the house. It takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes to walk the whole thing making it ab easy activity.
The closest shops are in the village 2 km away where there is an excellent restaurant and pharmacy.
