Rustic house with amazing views in the outskirts of the medieval town of Lucca
The house is found just outside a picturesque village very close to Lucca. This leaves the atmosphere from a genuine Tuscan village, but still being close to such a lively place as Lucca. The surroundings are the typical Tuscan ones; olive groves, a medieval church on a hill top and vines.
Entering the house from the secondary entrance, there is a small laundry room and the bathroom with shower. Then comes the eat in kitchen with a an arch that opens up to an extra space for storing. The kitchen is characterised by a pizza oven inside one of the walls which is a fantastic feature for making bread, pizza or even giant tortelli like one of the local restaurants do.
The main entrance is in front of the stairs and on the right one finds the first bedroom. Up the stairs halfway there is another stair that takes to the first sitting room of the house which has high ceilings.
up the main stairs again one finds a going through living room with a wooden stove, a small corridor and then a small toilet and a minor bedroom.
On the other side of the stairs there’s another good double bedroom. Both the double bedrooms and the living room have the views over the village and the mountains.
Outside there’s a patio with pergola and cotto tiles and lots of space for al fresco dining.
There is a massive cantina underneath for storing skis, bikes and whatever else.
Did we mention the car port?? :)
But if one wants to eat out, there’s a very good restaurant with home made tortelli and all the typical Lucchese food, within walking distance from the house!
This is a ready to move into house. The only thing that needs done is the central heating. But it’s ready to enjoy our fantastic summers and this fairytale- like landscape.
