ID-Casa Ambra
Detached House in Small Hamlet with ICONIC VIEWS OVER BARGA AND ACROSS TO THE ALPI APUANE
House 1
One walks into a large kitchen with picture windows across to the view. This room also has direct access onto the terrace for 'al fresco' dining. There is a corridor to the other house which again has a granite kitchen. The central room has stone steps going up to the Upper floor where there are three bedrooms currently and a bathroom. Within the restoration of this house, the ideal thing would be to move the bathroom into the middle bedroom as currenly it is an 'after thought' off the middle bedroom.
House 2
This is accessed from the garden at the basement level of house 1 into yet another small kitchen. There is a room off this, with its own front door but, this is low and so it is, almost definately registered as a cantina. The reality is that the owners used it as a living room.
The stairs go up to a good sized bedroom with bathroom and access to the terrace, upstairs again, there is another bedroom with a French door to the upper terrace.
The house needs restoration but the location speaks volumes.
Directly from the house there is about 700 mq of flat garden with the outline of a barn (which incidently has Tessieri floors).
There is another piece of land towards Barga included in the price where one can have a vineyard. There are still bottles of wine in the basement under the entire house.
This cantina is double inside and still holds the wooden winemaking vats. There is also a bread oven here.
