This house in a Medieval hamlet about 4 km from the well known SPA town of Bagni di Lucca is in a gorgeous setting in the middle of the Appenine Mountains with its own garden.
It was built in 1902 which makes it quite new for a Tuscan hamlet, with a Liberty Villa design to it and has a full car access, with the possibility of putting a smaller size pool in the garden. The previous owner was a fruit and vegetable dealer.
On the ground floor is a fitted large kitchen with French doors taking out to the garden, the living and two bedrooms.
The bathroom is on the landing between the ground floor and the first floor.
The stairs are made of original pietra serena (gray stone) and truly beautiful.
The second floor has two attic rooms that can be used as a third an forth bedroom.
The house has central heating with LPG.
The roof was completely restored with an insulation of 15 cm added, in 2016.
In this region a lot of things are going on, especially in the summer like https:
//www.canyonpark.it/parco-avventura-in-toscana/ or rafting in the River Lima
or http://www.ridersadvisor.com/ricerca/struttura/centro-ippico-la-riviera/ and it's great for starting excursions up
the mountains where one will be amazed by the beauty and the extension of walking paths in this area.
For more "careful" activities in Bagni di Lucca there is a tennis club with great tennis courts, a public swimming pool and lots of coffee shops and good restaurants.
