Benabbio is a delightful village with a grocers selling local produce, a great trattoria, a pizzeria and a Summer bar. The house is a little dated but everything works as it is ready to rent out.
The house has three entrances, two from the front vicolo and one from the private courtyard and garden. The house has a raised living floor where the kitchen, dining room and sitting rooms are. The kitchen is a traditional chestnut kitchen and fully equipped. There are stairs leading up to the upper floors.
The other 'wing' of the house has two rooms which could either make a bedroom suite with ensuite bathroom or remain as a sitting room and study.
Upstairs, there are two bedrooms and a very nice bathroom which was installed in 2000. The garden is fully fenced and flat with a covered parking area. In the corner of the plt, there is a barn on two storeys.
Underneath the house, on the ground floor, are 4 cantinas with water and electricity.
This well lived-in village is just 4 km from Bagni di Lucca and has a bus service. There are fantastic walks out from the village up to Boveglio, the castle and down to the river.
