Village House in village with Restaurant, Close to Skiing and Wonderful Walking Paths
The house next door has a similar garden which has been completely landscaped and has a pool. There is no reason why this pool cannot have one either. At the moment, the garden is steep and has lots of trees. It is interesting to look at the house next door and see the potential this house would have.
The house is set on three floors with a terrace at the back.
If one enters from the village side, one enters into a large, living room with a traditional kitchen at the end with a stone sink. This is a highly rustic kitchen with lots of character. Off this room are two rooms, one is used as a landing, the other is used as a bedroom.
Upstairs, there are 2 attic bedrooms with skylight windows to bring the light in, reached by way of the wooden stairs.
Underneath is the taverna which opens out to the terrace at the back. The bathroom is also on this level with a spiral staircase going down from the kitchen.
This village is lively with an association and a website that keeps local people informed of the events going on in the village. The restaurant in the village has an excellent reputation and this is easily within walking distance. There are three other, very close, restaurants within 5 minutes drive as well as the HQ of 2 of the rafting companies in the area. There is also the World Famous Canyon Park which is one of only 2 in the world with zip wires stretching across a river. The Canyon park has Canyon Adventure as well as yoga and SUP's.
If you don't like outdoor pursuits, there is a back route through the Appenines to Pistoia and Florence beyond. The Appenine route is like going back in time with some wonderful trattorias. It makes a great motorbike journey. This area has something for everyone.
