ID-Casa Primula
Semi-Detached Traditional Terra tetto home with 6000 mq of land
The property is found in the Compitese area between Lucca and Pisa. It is a very attractive area with lots of olive groves and gently sloping hills.
The house could have its own road if one wanted but, at the moment, access is from the courtyard shared with the neighhbour.
The house was rented out 6 years ago and would be in good condition except that the owners left the house closed and so it has gotten a little damp in places. We have suggested that the owners clean the walls with Madras – a bleach but apparently the walls need to them be repainted. For this reason, I am sure they will accept an offer.
The entrance is into the sitting room which then leads into the fitted kitchen which is very usable. Upstairs, there are two rooms and a huge bathroom. Upstairs again, there is another large bedroom and an attic room with stone walls.
The roof has waterproofing but no insulation, the window are mainly in good condition. The boiler needs moving so it may as well be replaced.
However, this house is really about the location. San Ginese is a wonderful village with real village life. There is a restaurant (or trattoria) where they make one of the best fish soups in the area.
