Completely Restored Villa WITH ANNEX. LEMON HOUSE AND GARAGE of Historic Interest with SWIMMING POOL AND WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF A TOWN
The complex has three entrances, one from the gated entrance into the driveway offering full car access. One from the piazza above and one from the pathway up from the town.
The home has been restored by a celebrated Interior Designer and who has added her artistic touch to, already, a very classy villa, with large rooms and stone staircases. Parts of the villa are from 1868.
The ground floor has French windows opening directly out to the garden where breakfast can be enjoyed. On this floor, there is the main living area with kitchen, dining room, fireplace and sitting room. Off this sitting room is a corridor leading to the ground floor bedroom suite with en-suite bathroom. The large lime tree in central courtyard, not only provides a 'roundabout' for cars but also offers shade and privacy in the Summer.
The main sitting room has a characteristic, mosaic floor which is typical of the area and maintains the room fresh in the Summer.
The interior design is beautiful and gives the villa the quality of a boutique hotel but just beyond the pool, there is a village of traditional Tuscan atmosphere.
On the first floor, there are two more bedroom suites each with their own bathrooms.
The second floor has a wonderful bedroom suite with its own private balcony.
Just 15 minutes walk away, there is a small sports complex with Padel Ball courts. There is also an excellent restaurant here.
The village is considered 'communter' belt for the Italians that work in Lucca and beyond and so it is a very authentic place to live.
Out from the villa, are amazing walks going up into the hills above and the San Graziano Restaurant.
The pool is 10 m x 5 m and was built with full permission. Around the pool, there are relaxing pergolas.
Just 5 minutes-walk takes you to Valdattavo where there is a theatre, 2 bars, local shops and a pharmacy.
