Detached Riverside House and Barn With Access to the River down a Staircase and Garden
One enters from the main road, down some stairs to the entrance which opens out to a large reception room. Behind this is the kitchen and the dining room. The kitchen opens out to a utility room and then to the river front garden.
The garden is private but there is a shared path that lead to the barn and then the steps to the riverside proper. The staircase was originally used for fishermen who were issed with a permit to fish from the comune.
The first floor has two bedrooms and a study. There are also two bathrooms, commonly called 'alla Francese' as one of the bathrooms is a 'half-bath'.
The ceilings are plastered and have the traditional cane and plaster finish.
This was the full time residence of the ex-mayor of Bagni di Lucca and has full central heating. The first floor windows all have new green persiane shutters.
Parking is on the wide path across the road. There are lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance as well as grocery stores and shops.
