Restored Detached Villa with land and Barn to restore
This property is found between Barga and Bagni di Lucca hidden away. It has access on tarmac roads except for the last 100 m which is on an easy white road and then the last few meters which belong to the property itself which is in reinforced concrete.
One enters on the middle floor which is typical for a Tuscan home as the cantinas are used as a kind of ‘cavity’ to avoid damp going up to the living floors. These cantinas are high and could be made into habitable space if necessary.
The property is completely restored but in a very traditional and rustic way so that it almost seems unrestored. In particular, the property has a new roof with 4 cm of insulation, restored windows and excellent bathrooms.
There is a brand new tettoia to protect the entrance of the house. One enters in the kitchen which also has a double fronted Palazetti fireplace which heats the whole house which heats the whole house through forced air and copper pipes. The other side of the fireplace provides the fireplace for the sitting room. The stairs are original, at the owners choice, and are wooden, built from the chestnut wood found in the indigenous trees.

The house has delighful views of the Borgo of Coreglia, considered one of the most beautiful towns in Italy.
This area is particularly noted for its chestnuts and the Porcini mushrooms which are part of the local diet.
