Traditional Village House WITH CENTRAL HEATING to Modernise more than Restore
This stone village home is situated in one of the narrow cobbled streets of Limano. It preserves authentic details such as cotto flooring, wood‑beam ceilings, and stone walls.
Limano is a well-lived in village with a "circolo" style bar that opens in the evenings.
One enters into the hall with a eat-in kitchen, the beauty of this house is that the kitchen opens to a terrace for "Al-Fresco" dining.
The stone steps are "pietra di Matraia" which is a dark stone from close to Lucca which has been quarried out. It makes the stairs more precious.
The first floor has three bedroom and a bathroom. The roof has been card for but we cannot locate any bitumen paper. It is currently in good shape.
There are three cellars underneath the house which are accessed from the dining room. One is used for the laundry. One is used as a boiler room but the boiler doesn't work.
A perfect base for hiking, exploring nearby Bagni di Lucca, or simply soaking in the pace of hillside living.
