Detached Village House on Piazza where the Bar and Shop are
The village of Casabasciana is 9 km outside the spa town of Bagni di Lucca. It is popular with locals and tourists alike. It has many festivals and events during the Summer as well as two restaurants within walking distance. One is Villa Aurora and the other is a "home cooking experience".
The village is just off the floor of the Lima valley famous for its rafting and Canyon Park.
The house itself probably used to be two separate properties however, it has been united to make one large home characterised by Beautiful Tessieri floors and beamed ceilings. The large eat-in kitchen has an ancient stone sink. Behind this is a small bathroom and another sitting room. To the left is another reception room and a dining room.
Up the stone steps, one arrives at the four bedrooms and the second bathroom. One of the rooms opens out to the large balcony which enjoys beautiful views of the Apuan Alps and the Pania.
Underneath the house there are 4 rooms on two levels which could also be made into an independent annex.
The roof appears to be in good shape with copper pipes.
This house is close to the parking, just 50 m away but there is no car access to the front door.
