Lovely Stone Village House with Full Car Access and Pool, Complete with Two Floored Garage/Barn
The house is on three floors with some stone faced walls, there is restored interior combining old charm and modern comfort. There is good use of glass panels high up to flood the inside of the house with natural light.
On the lower ground floor there is a large eat-in kitchen (stone or brick details, with modern appliances though), a dining/living space, leading out to the upper part of the garden in which there is a covered part for shady "al-fresco" dining.
There is one bathroom on the lower ground floor and one on the top floor where two of the bedrooms. These bathrooms both has showers.
The pool is above ground with a deck platform around it and set into a slightly terraced part of the garden so one edge is accessible via a small set of steps. The size is modest (8 x 4) but plenty of space to cool off.
Near the pool there is space for sun loungers on the decking.
The middle floor has one of the largest bedrooms whereas the top bedrooms are more for guests.
The floors are connected with, well-profiled wooden stairs.
This property was restored by its owner who is a builder and constructed this house for his own family so the quality of the work is excellent.
The location is very tranquil and private; the above‑ground pool adds a charming casual vibe vs a formal in‑ground pool. The smell of plants, birdsong, soft sounds of wind through trees. Views stretching out over the hills, sometimes, in the Autumn, it is possible to look upon the mist in early morning, in the valley.
At night lights from the pool deck and outdoor lamps, perhaps candles, create a warm, relaxing feel.
Above the house, about 30 minutes walk away is Rifiugio Fiori which under new management.
Bagni di Lucca is just 6 km away.
