ID-Casa Tucci
DETACHED Home to be Restored WITH WRAPAROUND GARDEN
The house is in the upper part of the historic village and has amazing views across and down the valley. It is a stone building but it has good plaster on it to keep it waterproof (our stone is very slightly porous) so the plaster is good for this.
Inside the house is extremely original with lovely Tessieri floors. These are made in Lucca and were from the beginning of the last century. It is sign that this house was built as a villa rather than a peasant house.
The kitchen is eat-in with a fireplace, there are two other rooms.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms but one will need to be converted into a bathroom as the current bathroom is outside.
Underneath the house there are three cellars, these were typically used for keeping smaller animals like chickens but also had the added advantage that they acted as a damp course to keep the rest of the house dry and off the ground.
Above the house is an easily accessable attic.
The garden wraps right the way around the house and is fully fenced.
Looking down the valley, especially on a rainy day, one can see the cloud layers and imagine Gandolf coming over the hills in this magical landscape.
Even though you are in the hills, there is loads to do with rafting, Canyon Park, Yoga, and SUP's all close by.
