Bright freshly restored apartment with lovely garden in Ponte A Serraglio
Ponte a Serraglio is one of the principal, historic centres of the Grand Tour due to it's hot thermal water of 54 degrees celsius.
These waters are still used and are delightful. The Bernabo Baths are found just 5 minutes walk from the apartment. The spa waters are also still used for medicinal cures but also offer mud treatments and massage.
The tourism dates back to the mid-nineteenth century with the presence of a Casino (now used for events), an Anglican church and English Cemetary.
The train station is 25 minutes walk and the bus stop just across the bridge outside Bar Italia. Lorenzo Nottolini's "Ponte Delle Catene" can be used to reach the dormitary town of Fornoli with all its services.
On the opposite side of the road is the Hotel Ninfa which is an elegant hotel with a gorgeous restaurant. Villa Fiori is currently being restored to make a large "Centro Wellness".
Located on first floor of a Palazzo of two apartments, it has been completely restored in the last few months keeping the original terracotta tiles and some stone walls showing the original fabric of the building.
