ID-Casa La Maiola
Detached Farmhouse and Chestnut Drying Shed on its own Land
Casa La Maiola is just above the spa town of Bagni di Lucca, it is completely private surrounded by chestnut woods.
The access is via a small road which mainly constructed of reinforced concrete making it easy for any car to access. The road is 1.5 km long and can be used to access the house at all times. The first part of the road is shared with the public water board, the last 100 m of which is private.
There is a large kitchen, dining room with three windows and a large fireplace. This kitchen is new. There is a staircase up to a mezzanine bedroom suite with its own bathroom.
There is a double staircase which divide into two more bedrooms, one of which has a further en-suite bathroom with a shower.
There is another wing to this part of the house that has an upstairs sitting room with access to the chestnut drying shed, across a raised terrace. Currently this building is only restored externally.
The other portion of the house is separate, one-bedroomed apartment on two floors. It has its own entrance into its living area with its modern kitchen. There is also a modern bathroom with shower.
The complex is served with a modern biological septic tank. It has an underground gpl tank for the central heating.
