Village House to Restore with GARDEN WITHIN WELL POPULATED VILLAGE
It is located in the area of the Controne which is known for being warmer in the winters and fresher in the Summer. The property has lots of land for a pool and for growing vegetables.
There are also olives already present on the land which will be fun to uncover and get back into production.
The house is about 130 mq, and is on three floors. The ground floor is raised, there is a kitchen with a door out to the terrace and then the smaller portion of garden that is in front of the house. The large portions of land are to the east. This kitchen is an eat-in kitchen with lots of space inside and immediately outside for "Al fresco" dining.
The sitting room is comfortable with a fireplace. This room just need modernising. At the moment, there is only one bathroom but, as there are 4 bedrooms and a studio, there is loads of space for a second bathroom. There are two bedrooms on the first floor and then 2 more on the attic floor.
Under the house, is a cantina of 30 mq. The cantinas were used, not only for storage but also to keep the house dry.
This is in a gorgeous part of the world and, if one wants, there are two barns available for purchase but at an extra fee.
Within walking distance, there is still the centre of the village with a shop, post office, Santina's trattoria and a butchers run by Gabriella.
The village has loads of CAI paths for hiking up into the hills and some of the mountains.
There currently three entrances into the house including a delightful entrance with terracotta tiles. Some of the rooms have beams on show and other rooms were restored in the 1970s.
Great value for money
At the moment, there are no registered floor so this is a great opportunity for a progect.
